National Council on Aging
National Council on Aging (NCOA) is designed for persons involved with,
or interested in, the Senior Community Service Employment Program
(SCSEP), a part time employment program for low-income persons age 55
or over.
Program participants work at community and government agencies and are
paid at, or slightly above, the minimum wage.

The Council On Aging Silicon Valley (COA) is the State of California’s designated “Area Agency on Aging” (AAA) for Santa Clara County and is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those older and disabled county residents in need of assistance.
The Senior Employment Services Department administer the Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) that is designed to assist low-income mature workers 55 or over in age to qualify for unsubsidized employment opportunities through paid on-the-job and classroom training programs.
